Catherine Liggett Foley is an American writer, journalist and amatuer photographer. She left New York in May 2006 to pursue a longtime dream of working as a journalist abroad. Catherine lived in Bucharest, Romania; Budapest, Hungary; and Cairo, Egypt; and also traveled extensively, including a three-month solo trip through South Asia. This blog documents the first 10 months of her 2½-year journey overseas.
